Novel update

I did some work on our (Ryan and mine) first novel. It is from the original League of Unusual Guys' first story, A Flock of Squirrels. The updated story is starting to take shape. More on it later.

LUG, finding clues

The team is looking at the clues and trying to figure out where the tie dye gang is going to go next. We also find out how up to date the LUG headquarters are (remember this story takes place in 1997). Gary is checking out another buyer, but he gets an unexpected response.

Where are we going?

We are currently in the process of revising our first story for publication. I have done a little looking around and found booksurge.com. I like how they are linked with Amazon.com.

For those of you that are new to the League of Unusual Guys, our first story was actually a spin-off of a family story we did for fun. Ryan and I took the characters and re-made them. As our first story, which is now known as “A Flock of Squirrels”, began as a hodgepodge of events. As we continued, the structure evolved into a investigation team against the strange and unusual enemies, the main enemy being know only as The Dread.

Now, we are in process of beefing up the story, building a background of were the main characters came from. Moving the back and forth storyline of the original into a more linear format. We are aiming at getting a first draft done by July.

Abber Keep

Welcome to Abber Keep. I'm an new writer, and I have been working on a project with my younger brother called the League of Unusual Guys. Its a serial action comedy, that we post small episodes every week. The story is about a secret investigation group that looks into strange happenings, unusual creatures and humans with "special powers".
